About the Role

We're hiring an SEO Specialist for a Canada-based B2B SaaS company serving the US and Canadian markets. This is a hands-on individual contributor role, you'll personally own and execute organic search end to end, not manage a team. You'll combine technical SEO, content and search-intent strategy, and the emerging discipline of AI search (GEO/AEO) to grow qualified organic traffic and tie it to real business outcomes.

What You'll Do
- Own the organic search roadmap end to end: technical foundations, content strategy, and authority building.
- Lead technical SEO — Core Web Vitals, schema/structured data, crawl and indexation health, site architecture — working directly with engineering.
- Build content and search-intent strategy mapped to the B2B buyer journey (awareness, consideration, decision).
- Develop and execute AI-search / GEO strategy: optimize for AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini through entities, structured data, and extractable content.
- Build ethical, white-hat authority through high-quality content, digital PR,



and earned links (no PBNs or link schemes).
- Own SEO analytics and reporting in GA4 and Google Search Console; translate data into prioritized, actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with content, product marketing, demand gen, and engineering teams.
- Tie SEO performance to business outcomes — pipeline, conversions, and revenue — not just traffic.

What We're Looking For
- 6–8 years of hands-on SEO experience, currently working in an active SEO role.
- A B2B and/or SaaS SEO background — experience optimizing for considered, high-intent buyer journeys (not e-commerce, affiliate, or local SEO).
- Experience serving US, Canada, or other Western markets, ideally working remotely with distributed teams.
- Robust technical SEO depth: Core Web Vitals, schema, crawl/indexation, site architecture, and migrations.
- Proven content and search-intent strategy skills mapped to a B2B funnel.
