Job Purpose: The Shift Engineer - Cluster - Wetline ensures overall supervision of production flow and machine operators that includes operators training, operators deployment, making SOPs, work instructions, check lists for machine, process flow and production,
hence to ensure a successful & protected operation in the shop floor as per production plan. The senior engineer also responsible for maintaining, controlling equipment and material movement within the operating scope and as per work instructions / standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure shift operations adhere to safety regulations and standards by enforcing protocols, conducting safety checks, providing training, and addressing any safety or compliance issues promptly.
Production Management:
- Monitor and manage throughput to maximize production efficiency and ensure that the rate of production meets or exceeds established targets
IMS:
- Implement 5S, Kaizen, and Poka Yoke for safety, oversee daily checks and machine readiness as per SOPs.
Quality Assurance and Improvement:
- Lead QCC, cost reduction projects for operational enhancements, monitor product quality adhere
