The Analytics, Investments and Marketing Enablement (AIM) team—within Global Commercial Services Marketing (GCSM)—is the analytics engine powering Commercial customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. AIM develops insights, data products, and analytical solutions that shape smarter marketing and powerful digital experiences.
This role sits within the Paid Media, Affiliates & Cobrand Analytics team, supporting strategy, analytics and optimization across platforms. The team partners closely with Marketing to drive advanced audience targeting, optimize media performance, and build the next generation of Digital capabilities using data, advanced analytics, and emerging AI.
How will you make an impact in this role?
As an Analyst/Senior Analyst, you will lead analytical work that fuels the strategy for Affiliates, Paid Media & Cobrand channels for commercial Audience. You will design and implement data-driven strategies, build scalable analytical solutions, and collaborate across business, digital, and technology teams to optimize targeting, personalization,



and prospect conversion.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about digital marketing analytics, audience strategy and applying emerging AI/GenAI techniques to transform Digital outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Develop analytical solutions and data products that improve targeting accuracy, personalization, and digital acquisition performance for the entire digital journey.
- Own end-to-end analyses focused on audience segmentation, experimentation, funnel optimization, and identification of acquisition opportunities.
- Build and enhance models and decisioning strategies, leveraging AMEX’s vast first-party data and evolving digital intelligence capabilities.
- Apply emerging AI and GenAI techniques, such as intelligent customer journey optimization, semantic modeling and automated insights to enhance targeting precision and analytical productivity.
