We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior
QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will
have strong experience in Manual Testing and hands-on expertise in Web, Mobile,
and API Testing. The candidate should be passionate about ensuring product
quality, identifying defects early, and collaborating with cross-functional
teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

As a Senior QA Engineer at ELIXR Labs, your primary
focus will be to ensure the quality and reliability of applications through
comprehensive testing activities. Your responsibilities will include:

- Execute
end-to-end testing activities for web, mobile, and API-based applications
to ensure software quality and functionality.

- Analyse
business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to
create detailed test scenarios and test cases.

- Perform
functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing to
identify and report defects.

- Collaborate
closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other
stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

- Track,
document, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA and participate in
defect triage meetings.

- Validate
APIs using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar platforms and ensure
seamless integration between systems.

- Conduct
mobile application testing across different devices, operating systems,
and screen resolutions.

- Participate
actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups,
backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

- Prepare
and maintain test documentation, test execution reports, and quality
metrics to provide visibility to stakeholders.

- Support
continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements and




quality best practices.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or
a related field.

Experience:

3 to 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.

- Strong
experience in Manual Testing.

- Hands-on
experience in Web Application Testing.

- Hands-on
experience in Mobile Application Testing (Android/iOS).

- Strong
knowledge of API Testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.

- Experience
with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA.

- Good
understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software
Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

- Experience
working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Primary Skills

- Design,
develop, and execute test cases based on business and functional
requirements.

- Perform
comprehensive manual testing of web, mobile, and API applications.

- Identify,
document, track, and verify defects through their lifecycle.

- Ensure
test coverage across functional, regression, integration, and user
acceptance testing activities.

- Collaborate
with development and product teams to ensure timely defect resolution.

- Validate
application behaviour, usability, and performance from an end-user
perspective.

- Review
requirements and provide feedback to improve testability and quality.

- Participate




in release validation activities and production deployment verification.

- Maintain
testing documentation, execution reports, and quality metrics.

- Ensure
adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.

Good to Have Skills

- Basic
understanding of Automation Testing concepts and frameworks.

- Knowledge
of Database Testing and SQL queries.

- Exposure
to AI-powered testing tools and productivity tools.

- Basic
understanding of Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
Platform.

- Knowledge
of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions,
or GitLab CI/CD.

- Familiarity
with BDD frameworks and testing methodologies.
