Description
The incumbent will be the part of WSP in India - Denmark MEP Team (P&B;) as a BIM Engineer – Mechanical, based in Bengaluru. The role involves developing BIM models, detailed mechanical engineering designs, and construction drawings for building projects, while coordinating with engineers in Denmark and India.

Responsibilities extend beyond drawing deliverables, including working with other engineers to perform calculations and support integrated project delivery

Responsibilities
Technical

• Focus on the delivery of high-quality technical design drawings and specifications to the required regulations

• Prepare MEP 3D BIM coordinated models

• Clash detection and clash resolution

• Create Parametric BIM Families

• Provide specialist support to design teams preparing analysis and design models

• Support design teams and bid teams with the creation of 3D visualizations

• Support design teams and bid teams with creation of 4D models / visualizations

• Prepare quantities for use in BoQs from the 3D model

• Initiate and participate in design peer reviews





• Ensure internal quality procedures are followed

• Keep up to date with industry developments with respect to own discipline and appreciate the basic technical principles and drivers of other disciplines
