About the role

We are seeking a ServiceNow ITOM Platform Engineer with hands-on cloud experience to build, operate, and continuously improve our ITOM capabilities in ServiceNow. This role is responsible for Discovery, CMDB data quality, and Service Mapping across hybrid on-prem and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

What you'll do
- Design, implement, and operate ServiceNow IT operations management capabilities with a focus on discovery, configuration data quality, and service mapping across on‑premises and cloud environments.
- Build and maintain reliable discovery architecture by managing mid‑server design, credential handling, network zoning, performance tuning, and monitoring.
- Improve trust in configuration data by applying identification and reconciliation best practices, enforcing data quality standards, and aligning configuration and service models to common service data structures.
- Create, validate, and optimise service maps that accurately represent application and infrastructure dependencies and support operational decision‑making.




- Integrate cloud platforms into ServiceNow by ensuring cloud resources are modelled, normalised, and governed according to ownership, environment, and cost standards.
- Develop automation and integrations that reduce manual effort and improve platform reliability using workflows, scripting, and application programming interfaces.

What you'll bring
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow engineering experience with a strong focus on ITOM.
- Proven experience with Discovery, CMDB, and MID Server deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on cloud engineering experience with one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP), including Understanding of cloud resource models (accounts/subscriptions, regions, VMs, load balancers, managed services, ephemerals, auto-scaling) Azure policy configuration & reporting
