Experience
About 5 to 10 years winning and growing business-to-business relationships, ideally with senior buyers. A background selling media, marketing services, research, events, software, or consulting is a plus.
About the role
You will bring in new business-to-business clients and grow the ones we already have. You will sell to buyers in India and in other countries, including the US, UK, and Asia Pacific. Your job is to understand what a senior buyer really needs, build trust, and carry good deals to a clean close.
You will work closely with our marketing and delivery people so that what we promise is what we deliver.
What you will do
• Win new business-to-business clients and grow existing accounts, including finding upsell and expansion chances in accounts you already handle.
• Reach out to new prospects and follow up on leads that come in.
• Run discovery and follow-up calls.
• Build and manage an honest sales pipeline that reflects real, not wished-for, deals.
• Keep your notes and next steps up to date.
• Have real conversations with senior executives, including CXOs and senior marketers, and understand their needs before you pitch.
• Sell to clients in India and abroad, including buyers in the US, UK, and Asia Pacific.
• Carry deals from first contact to a clean close, with clear next steps at every stage, and help prepare proposals along the way.
