The Lead for Health Security will play a pivotal role in driving PATH’s strategic initiatives under health security portfolio ensuring effective implementation, coordination, and advocacy at the National and State levels. This position requires a dynamic skilled with strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects. One Health, Anti-Microbial Resistance / Stewardship, Strengthening Disease Surveillance including Zoonotic and Pandemic preparedness are the current focus areas of Global Health Security at PATH and not limited to the aforesaid areas.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership and Technical Oversight




- Provide technical guidance and strategic direction for health security projects, ensuring alignment with national priorities and donor requirements.
- Oversee design, implementation, and evaluation of interventions across surveillance, preparedness, and response domains.
- Ensure quality assurance and continuous improvement in technical deliverables, including guidelines, SOPs, and capacity-building frameworks.

2. Project Management and Implementation
- Lead day-to-day operations of assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and compliance with donor and organizational standards.
- Develop and monitor project budgets, work plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Supervise and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

3. Stakeholder Engagement and Representation
