Position Summary
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Accountant – India will play a highly involved supporting role in the India finance function, contributing to monthly close, statutory compliance, audits, tax support, and financial reporting. This role is ideal for a robust accounting professional in the Mumbai area with India GAAP and US GAAP knowledge who wants exposure to a US-owned global organization.

Detailed Role Responsibilities
I. Monthly Close and Financial Reporting
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entries, general ledger review, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting deliverables.
- Prepare management reporting, variance analysis, and corporate consolidation inputs to support timely and accurate reporting.

II. Statutory Compliance, Tax and Audit Support
- Support India GAAP and US GAAP reporting expectations, statutory accounting, tax compliance, audit requirements, and applicable corporate policies.
- Prepare and support the review of tax returns, statutory financial statements, regulatory submissions,



and audit deliverables.

III. Controls, Documentation and Process Scalability
- Help maintain accounting processes, controls, reconciliations, and documentation that support a scalable, audit-ready finance function.
- Identify opportunities to standardize processes and strengthen the quality, reliability, and audit readiness of finance deliverables.

IV. Cross-Functional Finance Partnership
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, external auditors, tax advisors, and corporate finance teams on audits, compliance reviews, reporting, and process standardization.
- Communicate clearly with local business teams and global finance stakeholders to support effective decision-making and execution.
