Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience with large-scale data management.
- Experience with quantitative analysis and cost-effectiveness assessment techniques.
- Familiarity with AI model training, testing, evaluation, and tuning processes.
- Knowledge of data quality metrics and KPIs for AI products.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.
You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
Mission of the team: The ML Data organization was formed at the beginning of 2024 with a focus on improving ML data operations, governance, and responsible practices across Google. Our ML Data teams collaborate with other teams such as Cloud, Core, Google DeepMind, Google Research, gTech, Knowledge and Information (K&I;) and Labs.
As larger models become crucial to Google's success, the development of ML is becoming more data-centric. Our teams have been working on the critical paths for all recent and upcoming LLM launches at Google, including Bard, Gemini, Magi, and Cloud.
