Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Instrument/chemical/automation engineer with strong expertise in pharmaceutical plant operation using DCS/SCADA and instrumentation control understanding, automation systems, and GMP compliance. The role involves ensuring reliable operation, calibration, and validation of instrumentation systems across the API pilot plant in addition to support in executing the chemical batches.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure data flow and automation of process chemistry/process engineering/kilo/pilot equipment
• Support in executing pilot batches of API/Intermediate/pharmaceuticals
• Ensure adherence to cGMP, EHS, SOPs, and batch records
• Operate,
monitor DCS and PLC-SCADA systems and manage data flow into Zoetis network
• Take decision based on real time data for process parameters
• Perform calibration and validation of control systems and instruments
• Execute Computer System Validation (CSV) activities
• Implement wireless communication and digital systems like AR/VR in Pilot plant
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams
Qualifications
• Diploma / bachelor’s in chemical / instrumentation engineering
• 8 - 10 years of experience in Pharmaceutical R&D; and/or manufacturing
• Understanding of PLC, SCADA and DCS system architecture and data networks along with GMP operations
