Virtual Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities

Functions to develop:




- Develop and execute virtual commissioning activities for robotic and automated manufacturing systems.
- Create and maintain Digital Twin models of production lines, robotic work cells, conveyors, fixtures, and automated equipment.
- Simulate manufacturing processes to validate production flow, robot movements, machine sequencing, and system behavior.
- Integrate PLC logic, Human Machine Interface (HMI), robot programs, and automation devices within simulation environments.
- Validate control logic, machine sequences, sensor interactions, and actuator operations before physical commissioning.
- Perform cycle time analysis, throughput validation, and bottleneck identification.
- Conduct collision detection, reachability analysis, workspace optimization, and safety validation.
- Verify communication between PLCs, robots, vision systems, HMIs, and other automation equipment.
