Job Summary
• This role is responsible for leading teams/projects to solve common and complex business issues, by leveraging developed subject matter knowledge. The role manages and leads cross-functional program teams, delivers professional reports, develops schedules, budgets and resource plans, and tracks progress against the establishes plans, while leading less-experienced staff members. The role also identifies risks and creates mitigation plans, and reports the same to executive management.
Responsibilities
• Manages and leads a program involving one or more functions and project teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for a subsystem or component of a product or service offering.
• Leads moderate to high complexity projects, delivering professionally written reports, and supports the realization of operational and strategic plans.
• Understands the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with the defined program,
and utilizes knowledge to accelerate project completion.
• Leads the deployment, launch, and continuous improvement of recent technologies & process automation developed within the company's worldwide engineering team.
• Develops schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, logistics, and other support requirements for assigned program in collaboration with both the company & contract manufacturing teams.
• Coordinates activities of supporting project teams and internal and external development partners; tracks progress against established plan and makes decisions to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.
