As the Women's Agency Program Lead within the Women Empowerment Portfolio, you will take a leadership role in designing and implementing programs that enhance the agency of women at the household, community, and governance levels.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Program Implementation: Develop and lead the implementation of programs focused on enhancing women's agency within the Women Empowerment Portfolio.
- Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to understand and address the unique challenges faced by women in different contexts.
- Capacity Building: Design and execute workshops and training sessions to build the leadership and advocacy skills of women participants.
- Partnership Management: Establish partnerships with external organizations and experts to bring diverse perspectives and resources to women's agency programs.
- Community Mobilization:
Lead the coordination of community-level initiatives to promote women's participation in decision-making processes.
- Policy Advocacy: Advocate for policy changes that support and strengthen women's agency in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the impact of women's agency programs, gathering insights for continuous improvement.
Knowledge and Competencies:
- Demonstrated positive shifts in women's agency at the household, community, and governance levels.
- Comprehensive understanding and successful addressing of the unique challenges faced by women across different contexts.
