Job Overview:
The Lead Platform Engineering – GCC is responsible for managing a team of engineers providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 operational support across enterprise infrastructure platforms, including VMware, Cisco UCS, Azure Cloud.

This role ensures reliable day-to-day operations, timely incident resolution, and alignment with US-based engineering teams. The position is execution-focused, emphasizing operational excellence, technical troubleshooting, and team leadership within a global delivery model.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership




- Manage and lead a team of approximately 8 engineers supporting multiple infrastructure towers including VMware, Azure, and UCS
- Assign and prioritize daily operational work, ensuring timely and accurate execution
- Act as escalation point for complex infrastructure issues
- Maintain alignment with US-based leadership through regular communication and reporting

Infrastructure Operations
- Support VMware environments including hosts, clusters, and virtual machines
- Support Cisco UCS compute infrastructure including hardware troubleshooting and lifecycle coordination
- Administer Microsoft Windows Server environments including Active Directory and system maintenance
- Support Azure IaaS environments including virtual machines and core services
- Execute standard procedures for provisioning, patching, upgrades, and decommissioning
