Job Description
- Design and develop instrumentation systems for water, wastewater, and desalination projects using Revit and/or Plant 3D software. Create and modify technical drawings and models based on verbal and visual instructions from project managers and engineers.
- Manage work-sets and control visibility in Revit and/or Plant 3D models to ensure effective collaboration with team members. Utilize various parameters in Revit and/or Plant 3D families and schedules to optimize design processes.
- Integrate specifications into models using Revit and/or Plant 3D, ensuring compliance with project requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate instrumentation designs with other engineering disciplines.
- Perform quality control checks on instrumentation designs and drawings to maintain high standards of accuracy. Assist in the development of instrumentation design standards and best practices for the organization. Provide technical support and mentorship to junior designers and drafters.
