Responsibilities

The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team workplace.
- Independently performs engineering assignments requiring evaluation, selection, and adaptation of standard engineering methods.
- Executes detailed engineering work on major projects or leads engineering efforts on small to medium-sized projects.
- Applies sound engineering judgment to resolve technical issues, seeking guidance on complex or unusual challenges when required.
- Develops innovative solutions, communicates design changes, and contributes to continuous improvement.
- May supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior engineers and designers.
