We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineer – Test Engineering with 2–5 years of experience in the EMS industry. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing test strategies, supporting production testing, coordinating with ICT and FCT vendors, and ensuring effective test coverage to achieve high product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement test strategies for current and existing electronic products.
- Analyze product requirements, schematics, and specifications to define appropriate testing methodologies.
- Work with ICT (In-Circuit Test) and FCT (Functional Circuit Test) vendors to determine test coverage and Design for Testability (DFT) requirements.
- Prepare test plans, test procedures,
and cost estimations for new product introductions (NPI).
- Support the installation, qualification, and maintenance of production test equipment.
- Troubleshoot test failures and coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Design, and Process Engineering teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Ensure optimum test coverage to improve first-pass yield and reduce production defects.
- Monitor test performance and recommend continuous process improvements.
- Maintain documentation related to test fixtures, programs, validation reports, and engineering changes.
- Support customer audits and quality improvement initiatives as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in Test Engineering within an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment.
