Test Expert - Instant Services and Ecosystem Quality
Description -
This role is responsible for delivering software solutions that meet the needs and expectations of users and stakeholders by upholding quality standards and advocating for best practices. The role collaborates with project managers, development teams, and stakeholders to define testing requirements and priorities. The role oversees the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts. The role provides regular updates on QA metrics, test coverage, and defect trends to the stakeholders and leadership.

Responsibilities
• Leads multiple project teams of other software quality assurance engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of quality assurance for complex products and platforms, including testing strategy, analysis, coding, results evaluation, and proposed corrective actions.
• Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced development and quality assurance partners on software and firmware design and development.




• Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with quality assurance guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
• Contributes to refining testing methodologies, fostering continuous improvement in test processes.
• Participates in release and deployment activities to ensure a smooth transition of software from development to production environments.
• Provides valuable insights into test planning and execution during regular team meetings, fostering a culture of transparent communication.
• Provides domain-specific expertise and overall software quality assurance leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
• Drives innovation and integration of recent technologies into projects and activities in the software quality assurance organization.
