We are seeking an experienced Power Electronics Design Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced AC-DC and DC-DC power conversion solutions for a wide range of low, medium, and high-voltage applications. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in switched-mode power supply (SMPS) design, power electronics, and converter topologies who are passionate about developing reliable, high-performance electronic products.
As a Power Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for translating customer requirements into robust power supply designs, selecting appropriate converter topologies and components, performing engineering analysis, and supporting the complete product development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver effective, reliable, and manufacturable power electronics solutions that meet performance, safety,



and quality standards.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop AC-DC and DC-DC SMPS solutions using Flyback, Forward, Half-Bridge, Full-Bridge, Push-Pull, and other power converter topologies.
- Analyze customer requirements and conduct feasibility studies for power electronics and electronic circuit designs.
- Select suitable converter topologies, MOSFETs, capacitors, PWM controllers, driver circuits, and other critical components based on application requirements.
- Develop circuit schematics and design documentation using ORCAD Capture or similar electronic design tools.
- Perform engineering analyses including derating calculations, thermal analysis, reliability assessments, DFMEA, FMECA, and failure analysis.
- Optimize converter efficiency, thermal performance, EMI/EMC compliance, and overall product reliability.
