Role description:
The Senior Manager – MEP will lead MEP design, coordination, and project management activities for major international construction projects. This role is part of the Design Assurance & Value Engineering (DA&VE;) team within the Client’s Centre of Excellence (COE) Team and is responsible for ensuring designs align with client briefs, project goals, and industry standards, while driving innovation and sustainability across all MEP services. The position demands technical oversight, strong stakeholder engagement, and effective contribution to project delivery within a global, multidisciplinary setting.
This role will be providing services on a variety of large programs being undertaken globally. Accordingly, this role must be prepared to work hours appropriate to a global delivery model.
Role accountabilities:
- Design Coordination & Discipline Integration: Review and validate MEP designs, drawings, and calculations to ensure alignment with the client brief while coordinating with architectural and structural disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure seamless system integration.
- Techno-Commercial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive techno-commercial evaluations of MEP schemes and innovative technologies, ensuring that all adopted strategies are cost-effective, high-performing, and aligned with the project's commercial design intent.
- Strategic Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary technical link between client teams, consultants, and senior management, translating complex technical MEP concepts into transparent project updates and act
