As a Payment Lifecycle Analyst within Payments Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth transfer of funds between various parties while enhancing our payment operations framework. You will leverage your knowledge of automation technologies and systems architecture to process payments across various products and parties. Your responsibilities include identifying and resolving issues, making decisions guided by established practices, and contributing to short-term operational goals. You will engage with stakeholders, manage projects, and spur continuous improvement initiatives, building solid working relationships with internal lines of business. Your ability to understand and apply cybersecurity controls, anti-fraud strategies,
and data analysis techniques will be key to your success in this role.
Job responsibilities
- Provide daily/weekly cash positioning and scenario analysis, recommending actions to optimize liquidity, reduce idle balances, and support business decisions.
- Support short-term funding needs by forecasting requirements, coordinating drawdowns/repayments, and ensuring timely availability of cash across entities and accounts.
- Monitor FX exposures arising from cross-border cash flows; support FX execution/hedging activities and track settlement, confirmations, and related controls.
- Execute and monitor investment of surplus liquidity (e.g., money market instruments/overnight placements) in line with counterparty limits, and risk parameters.
- Oversee end-to-end processing of incoming/outgoing cashflows (payments, collections, interfund transfers), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and issue resolution.
- Track and reconcile cap stock–related cash
