What Drives Success

Job Summary: The Technician will support the VAVE team by performing product tear-down activities, collecting and documenting engineering data, preparing analysis reports, and maintaining technical records. The role requires hands-on disassembly of products, accurate measurement and documentation of components, and collaboration with engineering teams to identify cost reduction and product improvement opportunities.
Tear Down Activities
- Perform systematic tear-down and disassembly of products, assemblies,



and components.
- Identify, classify, and organize parts for further analysis.
- Record component details including material, dimensions, manufacturing process, and part functions.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of teardown components and samples.

Data Collection & Analysis Support
- Collect engineering data from tear-down activities, drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
- Measure components using standard measuring instruments.
- Capture photographs and maintain detailed records of findings.
- Create and maintain databases of product components, materials, and costs.
- Support benchmarking and competitive product analysis activities.

Report Preparation
- Prepare tear-down reports, data sheets, comparison charts, and presentation materials.
