Accounts Manager – E-Commerce & Retail

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Accounts Manager to oversee the complete accounting and finance operations of our e-commerce and retail business. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in e-commerce accounting, marketplace reconciliations, GST, TDS, Tally Prime, financial reporting, MIS, and month-end/year-end closing.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely books of accounts, statutory compliance, reconciliations, audits, and providing meaningful financial insights to management.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for e-commerce, retail, and D2C business
- Supervise the complete accounting process, including sales, purchases, expenses, receivables, payables, and general ledger




- Review and ensure accurate accounting entries and supporting documentation
- Monitor vendor invoices, payments, customer collections, and outstanding balances
- Ensure timely month-end, quarterly, and year-end book closing
- Review and maintain proper accounting controls and processes

E-Commerce & Marketplace Reconciliation
- Manage and review reconciliation of Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Shopify, marketplaces, payment gateways, and other sales channels
- Reconcile sales, collections, commissions, returns, refunds, discounts, deductions, and settlements
- Identify discrepancies and coordinate with respective teams/platforms for timely resolution
- Ensure proper accounting of marketplace settlements and related charges

GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance
- Oversee GST workings, reconciliations, and timely compliance
- Ensure accurate preparation and filing of GST returns in coordination with consultants/internal teams
- Manage TDS calculations, deductions, paym
