About the Role: Morningstar DBRS RMBS team is looking for candidate with valuable problem-solving skills and analytical thinking in the securitization space with experience in the credit rating process and basic understanding of SQL/VBA. Knowledge on Python is a plus.



This role will provide unique opportunities for mastering the key aspects of our credit ratings business including in-depth collateral and deal analysis. This candidate will also be responsible for conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis on the underlying loans and properties that collateralize Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities transactions. In addition, will assist other analysts with collateral pool analysis; running cashflows & sensitivity analysis; assist with special projects/initiatives, research as needed.

Responsibilities
- Analyze the credit risk in Residential Mortgage backed securities by performing tasks that includes reviewing deal documents, legal documentation, analyzing periodic data and preparing / running cash flow models both in-house and external like Intex Calc.
