Position Overview

SBS is looking for an experienced Agile Manager to lead the delivery of enterprise-grade banking platform components within our Research & Development organization.

This role is ideal for a technology leader who combines deep technical expertise with solid Agile delivery and people leadership skills. As an Agile Manager, you will own the end-to-end delivery of strategic product components, drive engineering excellence, enable high-performing Agile teams, and ensure the successful execution of complex technology initiatives.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across global locations to deliver secure, scalable, cloud-native banking solutions while continuously improving engineering practices, delivery processes, and product quality.

Responsibilities

Agile Delivery Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-scale software components from planning through production deployment.




- Own component roadmap, delivery commitments, execution strategy, and overall delivery governance.
- Drive Program Increment (PI) planning, sprint execution, release readiness, and delivery predictability.
- Manage project scope, priorities, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans to ensure successful delivery.
- Monitor delivery metrics, quality indicators, and team performance to continuously improve execution.

Engineering & Technology Leadership
- Guide engineering teams in developing scalable, cloud-native applications based on Java and Microservices architecture.
- Drive architectural alignment in collaboration with Software Architects and Technical Leads.
- Ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
