• Assist in Ind AS 117 (Insurance Contracts) and Ind AS 109 (Financial Instruments) and other applicable Ind AS implementation and related process documentation.
• Support in impact assessment and reconciliation of existing accounting policies with Ind AS requirements.
• Prepare and validate data required for Ind AS adjustments and disclosures, including actuarial and investment data.
• Assist in preparation and review of Ind AS-compliant financial statements and related notes.
• Help in documenting accounting policy positions and technical papers on key Ind AS topics.
• Support testing and validation of Ind AS configurations in financial and actuarial systems.
• Coordinate with actuarial, investment, IT for Ind AS data alignment and reporting.
• Prepare working papers, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for external auditors.
• Participate in internal training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives on Ind AS implementation.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trail for all Ind AS-related work and adjustments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Chartered Accountant
• Basic understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (especially Ind AS 109, Ind AS 117, Ind AS 115, and Ind AS 116).
• Knowledge of the insurance business and financial reporting framework under the IRDAI regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to handle large datasets.
• Solid communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
