Job Description:
Perform kinematic and dynamic analysis on complex mechanical systems using Multibody Dynamics (MBD) technique preferably in MSC ADAMS.
Develop high-fidelity multibody dynamic models of Nacelle Systems, Landing Gears, Flight Control Mechanisms, Door Systems, etc & correlate simulation models to physical test.
What you will do
- Support product development by providing simulation-based insights to help design decisions, perform trade/sensitivity studies for evaluating early conceptual designs and help in system integration and optimization.
- Collaborate independently with cross functional teams for various product development programs to apply MBD analysis techniques.
- Develop free-body diagrams & perform hand calculation using first principles to verify the simulations.
- Should possess valuable working knowledge of structural analysis and well experienced with related tools (MSc Nastran / Ansys / Abacus).
- Generate reduced-order flex body models using FE software such as MSC Nastran or ANSYS and perform integration for flex body simulations.
- Perform MBD-Control co-simulation by Integrating MBD model with control model developed in MATLAB/Simulink environments
- Contribute for improving simulation methodologies, modeling standards, and best practices for multibody dynamic analysis.
- Support for technical documentation by developing analysis reports, engineering standard manuals and certification reports.
Qualifications You Must Have *
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive, or related engineering discipline with 4 – 6 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with executing multibody dynamic simulations (both rigid & flex bodies) and structural simulations (linear/non-linear).
- Experience working on aerospace mechanical system
