Key Responsibilities
- Drive reduction in Warranty RPT (Repairs per Thousand), Warranty CPU (Cost per Unit), Unscheduled Visits, and Walk-home incidents through structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Act as the single point of contact between Customer Care and Plant Quality teams for field quality concerns.
- Lead investigation and resolution of product quality issues through cross-functional collaboration with Design, Supplier Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
- Ensure timely containment, corrective actions, and closure of emerging and critical field issues.
- Capture and institutionalize lessons learned from existing products and integrate them into new product development programs.
- Conduct Reliability Growth Analysis (RGA) for new vehicle programs and ensure issue resolution prior to launch.
- Assess field risks arising from engineering changes and recommend appropriate validation strategies.
- Conduct dealer and field visits to identify early warning signals, collect customer feedback, and strengthen dealer technical capability.
- Develop and publish quality dashboards highlighting warranty trends, field performance, and key quality risks for management review.
- Drive Daily Work Management (DWM) practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams through coaching, performance management, and capability building.

Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics Engineering / Mechanical Enginneering
General Requirements
- Strong understanding of EV architecture, vehicle systems, and subsystems, preferably in 3W or 4W vehicles.
- Expertise in structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, QC Story, Six Sigma, DOE, and Root Cause Analysis.Good knowledge of warranty management processes and field quality systems.
