About the role:
As a Credit Manager to manage end-to-end credit underwriting and portfolio monitoring for our MSME and Loan Against Property (LAP) products. The role involves assessing creditworthiness, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines, and supporting business growth while maintaining portfolio quality
What you will do:
- Evaluate and underwrite credit proposals for MSME and LAP segments in line with company policies.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, assessment of business models, cash flows, and repayment capacity.
- Review property documents, collateral, and legal/technical reports for secured rending.
- Ensure compliance with credit policies, risk management frameworks, and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with sales, risk, and operations teams to ensure smooth processing of applications.
- Monitor portfolio performance, identify early warning signals, and recommend corrective actions.
What you will need:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field (CA/MBA preferred).
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in credit underwriting for MSME and LAP Products.
- Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment, and collateral evaluation.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines (RBI/NBFC norms) and credit bureau analysis.
