Tenure: One year contract (renewable based on performance and budget
availability)

We are seeking suitable candidates for the position
of Program Manager based in Mumbai. It is a critical role in program team of
HelpAge India and requires frequent travel across the state for implementation,
monitoring, reporting of program interventions. This role will be responsible for on-ground
program implementation, ensuring timely and quality delivery of services across
project locations in Maharashtra. The Program Manager will very work closely
with field teams, local stakeholders, and internal departments to ensure that
program activities are done in time and objectives are met effectively and
efficiently.

Key
Responsibilities

Project
Design and Development

· Understand
the project activities, outputs and outcomes

· Lead and
contribute to the end-to-end designing of projects, from ideation to execution,
ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs.





· Collaborate
with internal team and external stakeholders to define project scope,
objectives, deliverables, and timelines.

· Integrate
creative approaches and best practices to enhance project effectiveness and
sustainability.

Program implementation and
field level coordination

· Lead and oversee the day-to-day execution of program
activities across assigned districts.

· Ensure timely delivery of project outputs in line
with agreed plans and donor requirements.

· Provide hands-on support and guidance to field teams
to troubleshoot challenges and improve service delivery.

· Regular field visits to monitor progress, ensure
quality standards, and gather feedback from communities. Facilitate community
engagement and ensure participation of older persons in program planning and
feedback.

· Support State Head and collaborate with Resource Mobilization
team to explore funding opportunities
