Position: Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Engineer
Type: Contract
Compensation: $40 - $60/hour
Location: Remote - Candidates from India preferred
Commitment: 10-39 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities
Build model-based system architectures that reflect real engineering workflows in domains like aerospace & defense, automotive, rail & transportation, energy & industrial systems, and medical devices.
Use model-based systems engineering tools to create system models across operational, system, logical, and physical layers — including functional chains, component exchanges, modes & states, and scenarios.
Translate open-ended systems engineering problems into self-contained tasks with reference solutions.
Review work produced by other engineers by giving technical feedback.

Requirements
Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Systems, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Software)



or a related technical discipline.
Have experience with at least one MBSE modeling tool like Eclipse Capella, Cameo Systems Modeler / MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, or Sparx Enterprise Architect.
Have working knowledge of a systems architecture method or modeling language such as Arcadia, SysML, or UAF.
Possess robust English communication skills, with a focus on written proficiency.
