Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Email Template Developer with 2–6 years of experience to join our Digital Operations team at eClerx. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize high-performing, responsive HTML/CSS email templates that render seamlessly across multiple email clients, browsers, and mobile devices.

Key Responsibilities

- Template Development: Build and code pixel-perfect, responsive HTML/CSS email templates, newsletters, and landing pages.
- Testing & Optimization: Perform thorough cross-client and multi-device QA testing using tools like Litmus or Email on Acid to fix rendering issues (e.g., Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail).
- Code Quality & Audits: Ensure W3C compliance, clean code architecture, code reusability, and peer code reviews.
- Client Collaboration: Coordinate with design, QA,



and campaign execution teams to deliver campaign requirements on time.
- Key Requirements & Skills

- Experience: 2–4 years in hands-on HTML/CSS email template creation.
- Technical Stack: Robust proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, tables-based layouts for email, and responsive email frameworks.
- Client Compatibility: Sound understanding of email rendering bugs, workaround hacks for stubborn clients (especially MS Outlook), and dark mode compatibility.
- Testing Tools: Hands-on experience with testing/preview tools (Litmus, Email on Acid, or similar).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written English communication skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Exposure to Marketing Automation Platforms / ESPs (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud / SFMC, AMPscript, Adobe Campaign).
- Basic understanding of JavaScript / jQuery or design tools like Figma/Photoshop.
