We at VIBGYOR Group of Schools hiring for Transport Maintenance Manager

Location- Mumbai / Pune / Malad

Key Responsibility:

Evaluates cause of repair failures and implements improvements and maintain data.

Oversee the repair and maintenance operation for all buses and vehicles.

Meets and confers with bus manufacturer's technical representatives regarding maintenance and service. Assures warranty work compliance.

Develop/run/analyze productivity and operational reports.

Ensure all repairs are carried out to the highest standards and regular inspections are conducted.

Ensure that Health and Safety at Work Act is adhered to.

Works with HOD in providing status of maintenance and budget requirements. Monthly review of financial and budget variances and review repair orders.

Develops work orders and the evaluation of all repairs performed by both the mechanics and outside vendors

Set up and supervises the activity of the Vehicle Maintenance Systems (VMS), security camera system and GPS.

Negotiate and establish repair cost or parts pricing with commercial vendors.





Deal with all aspects of the companys obligations to the Department of Transport including

- vehicle annual tests, record keeping and fleet inspections

Prepare annual bid list for parts and supplies.

Analysis of Fleet aging

Visit Schools and Garages for monthly / quarterly performance of quality checks.

Ensures that all operator inquiries related to the mechanical operation of the vehicle are responded to immediately

Analyze data on a regular basis and ensure optimum utilization.

Work Relations: Internal:

Reporting - Lead Maintenance for all functional issues.

Interfacing with Centre and zonal transport staff.

Interfacing with Finance, Technology and Human Resources for any people or any other operational issue/s.

External:

Interface with any other external vendors for all elements pertaining to the execution of the effective repair and maintenance of buses i.e. Spare Part Dealers + Vehicle Dealers etc.
