Role & responsibilities

Job Purpose and primary objectives:

Pega Senior Designer should be able to design ECS/datamodel, work on Pega development/support, address any technical issues and mentor the team

Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):

- Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications
- Manage technical implementation tasks along with peers, to ensure work is delivered on-time and on-budget
- Consistently demonstrate your knowledge of industry standard project delivery frameworks including Agile, Waterfall and Scrum
- Effectively troubleshoot technical issues as they arise during the project lifecycle
- Demonstrate technical knowledge by mentoring junior team members on on-going basis
- Should be able to collaborate with developers located in different locations on daily basis.
- Identify and develop the reusable component.
- Follow PEGA CDH best practices and guidelines
- Perform regular code and design reviews.
- Ability to come up with alternate solutions when product challenges are met
- Manages code build and deployment from development through to production.
- Demonstrates strong communication and presentation skills.

Key Skills/Knowledge:

- Certified Pega Lead System Architect (LSA ) with strong experience in Pega Implementation Methodology,



Agile/Scrum delivery and end-to-end Pega application design
- Hands-on expertise in Pega PRPC, Pega Infinity, case management, data modelling, ECS, decisioning, ruleset design and enterprise application architecture
- Robust knowledge of PRPC rules including Flows, Activities, Data Pages, UI Rules, Flow Actions, Agents, SLA, Correspondence, Reports and Work Queues
- Experience in architecting and designing scalable PEGA PRPC solutions using best practices, design patterns, class structure and reusable component frameworks
- Expertise in integrations including REST, SOAP, Web Services, middleware interfaces, MQ/File listeners, connectors, services, SSO and external authentication
- Good knowledge of Pega UI Kit, Theme Cosmos, React-based UI development, Pega Agent Desktop, CTI integration and chatbot implementation
- Working knowledge of PEGA Robotics, Pega Customer Service and Pega Decisioning will be an added advantage
- Strong understanding of IT standards, SDLC, DevOps, build and deployment processes, quality reviews, alert logs, PAL and performance tuning
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL database, data management, reporting and enterprise integration patterns
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, mentoring and technical leadership skills
