Role Overview
The Accountant will independently own the complete accounting, compliance, payroll and export
banking function of the Mumbai head office, working directly with the Partners and the company's
Chartered Accountant. This is a substantial, ownership-driven role covering 30+ recurring tasks
across the month; full handover and training on export-specific processes will be provided.
1. Accounting & Compliance
Day-to-day accounting in Tally Prime sales, purchases, journal entries, payables and receivables
E-invoice generation and export invoice documentation
Bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny and periodic clean-up
Online banking transactions and vendor payments
¢ GST returns GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, reconciliations and GST refunds on exports
¢ TDS working, payment and quarterly return filing
¢ Coordination with the CA for finalisation of accounts, balance sheet and audit queries
2. Export Operations & Banking
¢ Export Bill Purchase (EBP) documentation and submission to the bank
¢ Inward remittance submissions and follow-up
¢ BRC filing on the DGFT portal
¢ RoSCTL and export incentive documentation
¢ Foreign remittances Form 15CA/15CB coordination with the CA
¢ ECGC monthly declarations and policy compliance
3. Bank, PCL & Insurance
¢ PCL (packing credit) management availment, rollover and adjustment
¢ Monthly stock statements for the bank and stock audit coordination
¢ Marine insurance shipment-wise linkage and annual renewal
¢ Mediclaim policy renewals and records
4. Payroll
¢ Monthly payroll processing including PF, ESIC and Professional Tax
Candidate Requirements
¢ B.Com or higher, with minimum 3 years of accounting experience
¢ Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime, GST and TDS
¢ Export banking / export house experience preferred; training will be provided
¢ Proficiency in Excel; disciplined with a compliance calendar and deadlines
¢ Based in Mumbai or able to commute to Lower Parel
