Position: Manager - Civil

Location: Maharashtra

Experience: 7 to 12 Years

Qualification: BE/B.tech - Civil Engineering

Job Purpose:

The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end project management of large high-rise commercial and residential projects, from planning and mobilization through to final handover. The role requires close coordination with design, contractors, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Project Planning & Execution

- Lead civil project management of large high-rise commercial and residential projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, milestones, and resource plans in coordination with planning teams.
- Review architectural and structural drawings and ensure execution aligns with approved designs and specifications.
- Track progress against baseline schedule and initiate corrective action for delays.

2. Site & Contractor Management

- Supervise day-to-day site activities including excavation, foundation, structural, and finishing works.
- Coordinate with contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors to ensure timely mobilization and productivity.
- Monitor manpower, material, and machinery deployment against project requirements.




- Resolve site-level execution issues and escalate critical risks in a timely manner.

3. Quality, Safety & Compliance

- Ensure all construction activities comply with quality standards, statutory norms, and approved codes of practice.
- Enforce safety protocols on site and drive a zero-incident work culture.
- Coordinate inspections, audits, and approvals with statutory authorities and third-party agencies.
- Maintain documentation for quality checks, safety records, and regulatory compliance.

4. Cost & Budget Control

- Monitor project costs against approved budgets and highlight variances proactively.
- Support preparation of BOQs, work orders, and contractor bill certification.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality or timelines.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of materials within budgeted cost.

5. Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting

- Liaise with architects, consultants, structural engineers, and MEP teams for integrated execution.
- Prepare and present periodic progress reports to project leadership and management.
- Coordinate with client representatives and consultants on site inspections and approvals.
- Support handover documentation and closure formalities on project completion.
