We are looking for an energetic and proactive HR professional who can take ownership of recruitment, HR systems, employee development, and workforce management at our manufacturing facility in Umbergaon.
Position SummaryThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys building HR systems from the ground up rather than simply maintaining existing processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying manpower requirements, recruiting talent across all levels of the organisation, implementing HR policies and systems, conducting employee onboarding and training, and helping build a disciplined and motivated workforce.
The role requires someone who is highly organised, people-oriented, and capable of working closely with department heads to ensure the company always has the right people in the right roles.
- Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent AcquisitionManage end-to-end recruitment for all positions within the company.
- Source and recruit:
- Factory labour
- Machine operators
- Welders and fabricators
- Technicians
- Supervisors
- Engineers
- Administrative staff
- Accounts and office personnel
- Build a strong local recruitment network through agencies, ITIs, industrial institutes, local contacts and job portals.
- Maintain an active pipeline of potential candidates for future hiring.
- Conduct initial screening and first-round interviews.
- Coordinate interviews with department heads and management.
- Verify candidate credentials and references.
HR Systems & Administration
- Develop and improve HR processes and systems.
- Maintain employee records and personnel files.
- Manage onboarding and induction of new employees.
- Assist in drafting HR policies and implementing company procedures.
- Ensure statutory HR documentation is maintained properly.
- Track attendance, employee records and workforce data.
- Maintain organisational charts and manpower planning.
Training & Employee Development
- Prepare annual and monthly employee training plans.
- Coordinate technical and behavioural training programmes.
- Conduct induction training for all new employees.
- Track employee skill development and training effectiveness.
- Help create a culture of continuous learning within the organisation.
Employee Engagement
- Support employee welfare initiatives.
- Address routine employee concerns and HR queries.
- Assist management in improving employee retention and workplace culture.
- Promote discipline, professionalism and company values.
Performance & Organisation
- Assist in implementing performance evaluation systems.
- Coordinate probation reviews and employee confirmations.
- Support department heads in manpower planning.
- Monitor staffing requirements and anticipate future hiring needs.
