The Chief Financial Officer / Chief Accountant role at G.K. Vale & Co. is a senior leadership position responsible for directing the company's financial strategy, ensuring strict statutory compliance, and managing all retail financial operations across above verticals.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy & Forecasting: Drive the overall financial blueprint, manage annual budgeting, track cash flow metrics, and present data-backed risk assessments to the CEO and board members.

• Retail Reconciliation: Supervise multi-store financial operations, including daily receipts via cash, UPI, card, and digital wallet payment reconciliations across multiple photography studio locations and verticals.

• Taxation & Compliance: Oversee the accuracy and timely finalisation of GST

filings, TDS returns, and corporate income tax computations.

• Book keeping & Software Integrity: Direct the internal ledger structures, journal entries, and balance sheet finalisation within Tally ERP platforms.

• Responsible for monthly MIS preparation and reviews.



There is an internal auditing team with which this role needs to collaborate and work with for checks and balances, control accounts and governance.

• Audit Management: Lead teams through internal, statutory, and external tax audits by ensuring comprehensive document preparation and compliance with standard accounting practices.

• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the internal junior accounts team, accounts executives, and administrative staff.

Job Requirements & Skills

• Education: Graduate or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B. Com / M. Com / MBA Finance). Professional certifications like CA Inter or highly advanced accounting background are typically preferred.

• Experience: A minimum of 7+ years -10+Years of progressive core commercial accounting or executive leadership experience is mandatory for this role

• Core Competencies: High proficiency in Tally, advanced Microsoft Excel

(pivots, VLOOKUPs), data auditing, and finalisation of financial accounts.

• Language Proficiency: Ability to speak clear and skilled English, Kannada& Hindi.

Job Overview & Remuneration

• Salary Range: ₹40,000 to ₹1,00,000 per month, scaling entirely based on individual skill sets, background, and interview evaluations.

• Standard Timings: 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM (Monday to Saturday).

• Work Setting: Full-time, strictly Work from Office.

• Work Location: GK Vale & Co, Brigade Gardens 2nd Floor, Church Street, Bangalore - 560001.
