About the Role

GRS Formwork Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and responsible Production Supervisor to manage and supervise day-to-day manufacturing activities in our scaffolding and formwork production facility.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, manpower handling, production planning, quality control, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily production activities and ensure smooth factory operations.
- Allocate work to workers and ensure proper utilization of manpower and machinery.
- Monitor production targets, output, and daily production schedules.
- Ensure products are manufactured according to required specifications and quality standards.
- Supervise processes such as cutting, welding, fabrication, drilling, grinding, assembly, finishing, and other related manufacturing activities.
- Monitor raw material usage and minimize material wastage.
- Coordinate with the Production Manager, Quality Control, Store, and other departments.
- Identify production delays, technical issues, and manpower-related problems and take corrective action.
- Maintain daily production records, worker attendance, material consumption, and production reports.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas, machines, tools, and production processes.




- Ensure workers follow company safety rules and proper PPE requirements.
- Maintain discipline and a productive working environment on the shop floor.
- Train and guide workers regarding production processes, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the required time and cost.
- Report production status, problems, and requirements to the management on a regular basis.

Requirements

- 1–5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor / Factory Supervisor / Manufacturing Supervisor.
- Experience in scaffolding, aluminum formwork, steel fabrication, construction equipment, or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.
- Positive knowledge of fabrication, welding, cutting, assembly, and shop-floor production processes.
- Ability to manage and motivate workers.
- Good understanding of production planning and quality control.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, production reports, and inventory records.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under production targets and deadlines.
- Valuable communication and team-management skills.
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Fabrication, or a related field will be an advantage.
