Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech language communication voice fluency and swallowing abilities Develop individualized therapy plans based on evaluation results and patient goals Provide evidence-based therapy for speech sound disorders language delays stuttering autism-related communication needs voice issues and dysphagia Use Augmentative and Alternative Communication AAC tools when needed Monitor document and report patient progress with accurate clinical notes Educate patients parents teachers or caregivers on home-based strategies and communication support Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists special educators physiotherapists and medical professionals Participate in IEP meetings for school settings and provide input on communication goals Maintain ethical practice standards and ensure patient safety
