The Junior Site Engineer is responsible for assisting in the planning supervision and execution of construction projects at site level Working under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers the role ensures quality control safety compliance progress monitoring and coordination with contractors and workers to achieve timely project delivery Key Responsibilities 1 Site Supervision Execution Assist in supervising day-to-day construction activities at the site Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings specifications and quality standards Provide technical support to site workers and contractors 2 Quality Assurance Control Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with quality requirements Conduct inspections and testing of materials used on-site Report any defects or non-conformities to senior engineers 3 Surveying Layout Assist in site layout levelling and setting out works Verify dimensions alignments and elevations as per design Support land survey teams for measurements and benchmarks 4 Coordination Communication Coordinate with contractors vendors and subcontractors for smooth workflow Liaise with architects consultants and senior engineers for clarifications Maintain effective communication with labour teams to ensure timely execution 5 Documentation Reporting Maintain site records daily progress reports and work checklists Track material consumption and maintain stock registers Prepare reports on work progress delays and resource usage 6 Safety Compliance Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental standards at the site Monitor compliance with company policies statutory regulations and client requirements Report safety incidents or hazards immediately 7 Support in Project Planning Assist in preparing work schedules and resource allocation plans Track project milestones and report progress to senior engineers Suggest improvements for productive site execution Key Skills Competencies Strong understanding of civil engineering and construction principles Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Knowledge of surveying site layout and material testing Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Office and project management tools advantageous Good problem-solving and analytical skills Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities Attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety Qualifications Experience Diploma Degree in Civil Engineering or related field Knowledge of building codes safety standards and construction practices Work Conditions Primarily site-based role requiring outdoor work in varying conditions May require working extended hours or weekends depending on project deadlines Reports to Site Engineer Project Manager Senior Engineer Job Types Full-time Fresher Pay From 13 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Paid sick time Work Location In person
