TYPSA Group with over 50 years of global experience is an independent engineering and consulting services firm providing sustainable solutions across transport systems water renewable energy and other sectors Operating in more than 40 countries and guided by strong ethics technical excellence and commitment to quality TYPSA plays a key role in shaping global infrastructure TYPSA India a subsidiary of TYPSA Group established in 2021 delivers end-to-end services in planning design project management and construction supervision across diverse sectors Based in Gurugram Haryana and supported by regional offices TYPSA India excels in combining global best practices with local insights to deliver sustainable and innovative solutions for India s infrastructure sector Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Requirements Configuration Lead based in Gurgaon The primary responsibilities include managing software configuration processes analysing system requirements resolving technical issues through troubleshooting and ensuring effective communication between stakeholders The role will focus on aligning technical deliverables with client expectations while maintaining high quality and compliance standards Responsibilities Producing System Engineering plans and setting up and implementing of typical Systems Engineering processes e g requirements management Configuration management assurance verification and validation Accountable for the effective delivery of the Systems Engineering elements of Projects to time to the required quality and budgets and includes planning and budgetary responsibility for the System engineering tasks Advising teams in their adherence to those System Engineering processes and training designers from other disciplines on how to successfully apply requirements and technical assurance techniques to projects Assisting in the development of system and software models Mentoring supervising and checking the output of more junior systems engineers on projects Managing requirements assumptions risks issues system architectures and process development Undertaking consultancy assignments and providing advisory support to Clients and contribute to formulation of design concepts and approaches Present design solutions in meetings with clients and contractors Maintain good relationships with client s key representative and contribute to the marketing networking of the company to potential customers Contribute to the overall team development and growth through strategic inputs Implement CM process in project by identifying CI items configuration process establishment management of configuration change control Identify new techniques to drive the CM initiative and stay current with the industry standards Consolidate and standardize version control and release notes for software s throughout the project To perform audit at both internal and supplier end regularly Responsible to baseline the configuration hardware software Experience of working safely in the railway industry Requirements management with good working knowledge of requirements management tool i e Polarion ComplyPro Experience of verification and validation process Stage gate review Configuration management and change control Good understanding of various disciplines i e MEP Track Infrastructure etc Ready to travel within India overseas based on the project requirement Requirements Qualifications and Experience Degree qualified in a relevant Engineering subject Experience of delivering international projects Experienced in leading and working with people from varied backgrounds and cultures 8-15 years of skilled experience in requirements Management Working knowledge in Rail industry Demonstrable and good communication skills with succinctness being a strength and negotiation skills Build relationships with colleagues and work cooperatively with others to achieve project goals
