Responsibilities Reading and Interpreting Blueprints Welders must be able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications to accurately plan and execute welding tasks Welding Metal Structures They use different welding techniques e g MIG TIG arc welding to join metal pieces ensuring strong and durable welds Fabrication and Assembly Welders may also be involved in fabricating and assembling metal components cutting shaping and welding them to create structures Quality Control They inspect their own work and ensure that welds meet quality standards and safety requirements Safety Procedures Welders must follow strict safety protocols wearing appropriate protective equipment gloves face shields etc and ensuring a safe work environment Equipment Maintenance They may be responsible for maintaining and repairing welding equipment Job Type Full time Pay 20 000 00 - 28 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Experience Welding 2 years Preferred Work Location In person
