Overview TekWissen is a global workforce management provider throughout India and many other countries in the world The below job prospect is to one of our clients who is a part of a trusted global innovator of IT and business services headquartered in Tokyo We help clients transform through consulting industry solutions business process services IT modernization and managed services This client enables us to move confidently into the digital future This client committed to Long Term success and combine global reach with local client attention to serve them in over 50 Countries Position Snowflake Developer Location PAN India Work Type Hybrid Job Type Full Time Key Responsibilities Design develop test deploy and maintain Snowflake-based data solutions and applications Create and optimize SQL queries stored procedures and Snowflake-specific SQL extensions Architect data warehouses dimensional models and schemas tailored to Snowflake s cloud-native architecture Develop and manage ETL ELT pipelines for ingesting transforming and loading data into Snowflake from diverse sources Configure and tune Snowflake features such as virtual warehouses clustering zero-copy cloning caching and data sharing Implement data security and governance measures e g roles access control data masking Monitor performance troubleshoot bottlenecks and optimize cost and query performance Migrate data from legacy systems or other data warehouses into Snowflake ensuring data integrity and consistency Collaborate with data architects analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver insights Document data models pipeline workflows technical specs and data governance standards Stay current with Snowflake s evolving features and best practices to continuously enhance data solutions Required Skills Experience Technical Expertise Proficiency in Snowflake architecture including multi-cluster shared data virtual warehouses external tables and cloning features Strong command of SQL advanced query design and optimization experience Knowledge of data modeling techniques star snowflake schemas and dimensional modeling ETL ELT pipeline experience tools like Informatica Fivetran dbt or custom solutions Experience with performance tuning indexing clustering query analysis and cost optimization Understanding of cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP and their integration with Snowflake Familiarity with scripting languages Python Shell Java etc and Snowflake integration via APIs or Snowpark Soft Skills Strong analytical problem-solving and communication abilities Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and work cross-functionally Capable of managing multiple projects taking ownership and working both independently and within teams Qualifications Bachelor s degree in computer science Data Engineering IT or a related field 5 years of hands-on experience with data engineering or engineering roles including Snowflake warehouses Snowflake certification s preferred e g SnowPro Core SnowPro Advanced Architect Experience in highly scalable enterprise data environments Nice-to-Have Additional Skills Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau Power BI Looker Experience in data science ML pipelines Snowflake Data Marketplace or Snowpark Knowledge of CI CD practices and infrastructure-as-code Terraform CloudFormation Exposure to real-time data integration tools and CDC pipelines TekWissen Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity
