An ECG Technician also known as an Electrocardiogram Technician performs diagnostic tests to evaluate a patient s heart health by recording the electrical activity of the heart They prepare patients for ECG tests operate the equipment and analyze the results providing crucial information for doctors to diagnose and treat heart conditions Perform diagnostic tests Conduct standard ECGs stress tests and Holter monitoring to record the heart s electrical activity Prepare patients Explain procedures to alleviate anxiety position patients correctly and properly place electrodes on the body Operate equipment Use and troubleshoot ECG machines and related cardiac testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results Analyze and document findings Evaluate the quality of the ECG tracings and perform administrative tasks like filing paperwork and updating patient information Report results Submit the recorded data to physicians and report any mandatory information such as suspected patient abuse Provide patient care Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure and be prepared to respond to medical codes or emergencies Job Type Full time Pay 15 000 00 - 17 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Leave encashment Provident Fund Education Diploma Preferred Experience ECG operator 2 years Preferred Work Location In person
