The Store Manager will be responsible for managing the plant stores and inventory for all materials spares consumables and chemicals required for Sewage Treatment Plant STP Effluent Treatment Plant ETP Water Treatment Plant WTP Demineralization DM Plant and Valve systems The role ensures proper stock control documentation and timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted plant operations Key Responsibilities Manage receipt inspection storage and issuance of spares tools consumables and chemicals Maintain accurate stock levels through inventory control and ERP store management systems Conduct physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies Ensure proper storage conditions for sensitive items like chemicals lubricants and electrical spares Coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment of critical stock Maintain records of GRN Goods Receipt Note issue slips stock registers and return notes Implement FIFO LIFO methods for material handling Ensure safe handling and storage practices as per safety and statutory requirements Support audits by providing updated stock records and reports Prepare MIS reports on stock movement consumption trends and reorder requirements Supervise storekeepers helpers and ensure systematic store operations Key Skills Competencies Knowledge of industrial spares valves pumps motors chemicals and consumables used in treatment plants Proficiency in ERP systems MS Office inventory software Solid organizational and record-keeping skills Good negotiation coordination and communication abilities Safety-conscious mindset in handling materials Eligibility Graduate Diploma in Materials Management SCM Engineering 5-10 years of store management experience in industrial utility projects water wastewater preferred Job Type Full-time Work Location In person
