Become part of Barclays Assistant Vice President-Stress Testing You will be part of the Investment Bank OBI team and will be responsible for coordination Consolidation of data and analysis related to the Planning and Stress Testing The data is used for both internal reporting for senior management consumption and for external disclosures To be successful in this role you should have Master s degree preferably Accounting Finance or equivalent years of services Experience in managing large set of critical stakeholders regulatory engagements communication influencing for generating positive outcomes Experience on regulatory reporting is an added advantage Good level of PC skills Microsoft suite including Excel Word PowerPoint Working knowledge of Alteryx Tableau Qlik sense to help drive process reengineering Effective communication skills Some other highly valued skills may include Big 4 FTSE 100 Management Consultancy background Broad knowledge of all banking products business flows and technologies Appreciation of current future changes in the Regulatory environment that are will impact the bank s Stress testing processes and requirements Good understanding and experience of regulatory capital and stress testing requirements You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role such as risk and controls change and transformation business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology as well as job-specific technical skills This role will be based out of Chennai Gurugram Purpose of the role To develop and implement the bank s financial plans and stress testing methodologies by assessing the bank s resilience under various economic scenarios Accountabilities Development and implementation of stress testing methodologies and analysis of the results to identify potential vulnerabilities assess capital adequacy and inform risk mitigation strategies Management of the bank s financial risks including development and implementation of risk management strategies and communication of financial risks to relevant stakeholders Analysis of the bank s capital position and assessment of its ability to meet regulatory capital requirements development of capital management strategies to optimise capital utilisation and evaluation of the impact of capital allocation decisions on the bank s risk profile and financial performance Orchestration of process cycles for the Planning and Stress Testing FTC and project managing delivery of the Planning Process and stress tests Documentation of requirements prescribed by the Regulator Process Data Owner Tracking and reporting cycle progress via P ST Steer Co POC Working Groups and the workflow tool Management of data dataflows and data quality from contributors - input through to report submission Management of BAU systems to enable a quick outcome and iterative generation of Capital or Funding plans and separately drive process reengineering initiatives Ownership of the control s environment standards conformance partnering with BIA to ensure the FTC meets its controls and governance objectives Provision of ongoing governance support including but not limited to Regulatory liaison Group BBUK Board engagement Group Attestation KPMG engagement Assistant Vice President Expectations To advise and influence decision making contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness Collaborate closely with other functions business divisions Lead a team performing complex tasks using well developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver on work that impacts the whole business function Set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives appraisal of performance relative to objectives and determination of reward outcomes If the position has leadership responsibilities People Leaders are expected to demonstrate a clear set of leadership behaviours to create an environment for colleagues to thrive and deliver to a consistently excellent standard The four LEAD behaviours are L -
