Job Title Siemens PLC DCS Engineer Location Pune Department Automation Control Experience Required 3-10 Years Employment Type Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Siemens PLC DCS Engineer to join our team to execute control system projects involving programming configuration and hardware design The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Siemens S7-(phone hidden) 1500 PLCs TIA Portal WinCC HMI SCADA systems and DCS systems such as PCS 7 or PCS neo The role also involves designing control panel hardware and supporting commissioning activities at client sites Key Responsibilities 1 PLC DCS Programming Develop test and troubleshoot PLC logic using Siemens STEP 7 TIA Portal and PCS 7 PCS neo Implement structured programming using SCL LAD FBD and STL Create and optimize function blocks UDTs and modular code architecture for reuse Integration of third-party devices over PROFINET PROFIBUS or Modbus protocols 2 HMI SCADA Development Design and develop operator interfaces using Siemens WinCC WinCC Advanced Professional or WinCC OA Implement process screens faceplates alarm event handling and trending Coordinate with process engineers and customers for HMI SCADA layout finalization Test and validate graphics functionality aligned with PLC DCS logic 3 Hardware Engineering Develop control panel GA schematic drawings and wiring diagrams using EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical Prepare IO list terminal plans cable schedules and loop diagrams Select automation hardware including PLC modules IO cards relays power supplies etc Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards e g IEC ISA 4 Testing and Commissioning Perform internal FAT and SAT at client sites Support installation loop checking and commissioning of control systems Troubleshoot and resolve control logic IO wiring and communication-related issues during commissioning 5 Documentation and Coordination Prepare technical documentation including user manuals functional design specifications FDS and as-built drawings Coordinate with cross-functional teams including process instrumentation and electrical departments Support client meetings project reviews and technical discussions Required Skills Proficiency in Siemens PLCs S7-(phone hidden) 1500 and TIA Portal Experience with Siemens DCS PCS 7 or PCS neo preferred Strong command of HMI SCADA tools WinCC WinCC Qualified WinCC OA Knowledge of industrial communication protocols PROFINET PROFIBUS Modbus TCP RTU Experience with AutoCAD EPLAN for electrical design Understanding of process control concepts and instrumentation Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Instrumentation Electronics Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering Siemens certification in TIA Portal or PCS 7 preferred Willingness to travel for project execution and commissioning Send your resume to akshay abnave ipacautomation com Job Type Full-time Pay 285 629 83 - 1 217 459 07 per year Experience Relevant 3 years Required Siemens PLC DCS Engineer 3 years Required PLC DCS Programming 3 years Preferred HMI SCADA Development 3 years Required Hardware Engineering 3 years Required Testing and Commissioning 3 years Preferred Documentation and Coordination 3 years Required Work Location In person
