Job Overview Assistant Manager - HSEwill be responsible for developing implementing and overseeing comprehensive safety and environmental policies ensuring compliance with regulations conducting risk assessments leading incident investigations providing employee training and actively promoting a strong safety culture across all departments Key responsibilities of the function Policy Development and Implementation Create and maintain comprehensive HSE policies and procedures aligned with industry standards and legal requirements Activities to ensure employee engagement regulatory compliance and implement the WHSE system to protect human health the environment Risk Assessment and Mitigation Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and prioritize preventive measures Implement control measures to minimize risks and prevent accidents Compliance Monitoring and Auditing Perform routine safety inspections and audits to ensure adherence to HSE standards Incident Investigation and Reporting Employee Training and Awareness Develop and deliver comprehensive HSE training programs for all employees at various levels Developing planning coordinating and directing environmental and health safety across locations Travel -The candidate should be willing to travel outside Bangalore to our regional offices and client site Profile There should be at least five years of job experience and should not exceed more than ten years of experience working in the construction manufacturing sector Education qualification B E Mechanical Electrical Civil with a minimum of five years of experience or Diploma with eight of minimum experience Technical qualification PG in Health Safety course or NEBOSH or RLI approved Diploma in safety course Work related Experience Experience preferred working in positive construction industries or any renowned Manufacturing industry Skill set Strong understanding of health safety and environmental regulations Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE programs Leadership and communication abilities to influence and engage employees Ability to conduct investigations and prepare detailed reports Knowledge of relevant safety standards and best practices OHSMS Knowledge Should have knowledge on ISO 45001 Occupational Health Management System implementation documentation and maintenance of the system Language to Speak Should know Kannada language to speak apart from English Knowing Tamil and Hindi language is preferable Job Type Full-time Pay 50 000 00 - 65 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Internet reimbursement Leave encashment Life insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location In person
